The service offered by the website www.worldofcosta.com allows users to publish their images and text contributions online free of charge and make them available to other users.
Internet connection costs are to be borne by the user. Costa Crociere S.p.A. does not guarantee and accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness and, in general, the contents of the images and text contributions inserted directly by users.
The user shall be responsible for sending and publishing material. Furthermore, by using the service, he/she:
- declares that he/she is of age
- declares that he/she is aware that by sending images he/she undertakes to grant Costa Crociere S.p.A. the non-exclusive right and licence, subject to no compensation or time limitations, to use, adapt, publish, distribute, reproduce and execute said contributions or, in general, to exercise all rights connected with same
- guarantees that he/she holds the copyrights concerning the contributions loaded
- guarantees that none of the material sent is in breach of the law (for example, its is not obscene, defamatory, blasphemous, racist, paedo-pornographic or in breach of intellectual property rights, moral rights, copyrights, third party data protection rights and publication rights) and, in general, observes the provisions of the copyright law (Law n. 633 dated 22 April 1941) and subsequent amendments
- guarantees that he/she has obtained all authorisations and releases regarding the use and distribution of same from all the parties involved, and that therefore the publication of the contributions by Costa Crociere S.p.A. will not result in a breach of third party rights
- declares that he/she is aware that Costa Crociere S.p.A. has the right to give its final approval or disapproval regarding the contributions, without the need to provide explicit justifications, according to criteria concerning their decorum and pertinence with the subject of the communication
- declares that he/she is aware that the person who sends the images and texts shall be responsible for same
- declares that he/she is aware that in order to publish photographs of minors he/she must provide Costa Crociere S.p.A. a written authorisation from the minors' parents
- declares that he/she is aware that a breach in any of the above could result in the immediate removal of his/her contribution
- declares that he/she is aware that in the event of Costa Crociere S.p.A. and/or any affiliated company being involved in legal or restraining actions, indicted by third parties for the conduct or method of use of the service by a user, the latter must hold Costa Crociere S.p.A. and/or the affiliated companies not liable for and indemnified against all detrimental effects connected with said actions, and pay compensation for any losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses that may be sustained by Costa Crociere and/or the affiliated companies as a result of the use of the service.

Using the service puts Costa Crociere S.p.A. in the position of having to process personal data in order to carry out the necessary activities. 

By sending contributions, the user implicitly accepts the above regulations and expresses his/her full consent to their use, including their reproduction and distribution by Costa Crociere S.p.A., and to the processing of his/her personal data, pursuant to the Privacy Law (Law Decree 196/2003).
